With the safety of an experienced guide, this easy going, 1½ hour interpretive hike will take you to the glacier face and onto the moraine crest. Learn how glaciers shape, carve, and define the land, observe local flora and fauna, and marvel the feats of early sourdough pioneers. This discovery of the Thompson Pass gateway to the Alaskan interior is perfect for families and/or individuals with limited time at the glacier.

Ice climbing adventures for beginners to advanced climbers ready to tackle glacial blue walls, ice towers, and seracs. Your guide will teach or refresh your memory in ice climbing technique, rope handling, and anchor building. Feel your crampons and ices axes become an extension of your body while you chop and create your own holds, moving in rhythm with nature. All gear included. No experience necessary.
